Almost certainly. In Wales, most farm-scale ground-mounts need a full planning application — we handle the submission with Pembrokeshire or Ceredigion Council depending on which side of the Teifi the smallholding sits on. Yields on a south-facing 30–35° pitched ground-mount in SA43 typically beat any roof system.
Are there grants for Cardigan-area heat pumps?
The BUS grant applies in SA43 the same as anywhere in Wales — up to £9,000 (applications 21 Jul 2026–31 Mar 2027) if you're on oil or LPG, £7,500 on mains gas. Nest Wales offers means-tested support for low-income Ceredigion households. We handle all BUS grant paperwork directly.
What's the payback for a holiday-let solar system in Cardigan?
Holiday lets typically run high evening and weekend loads (kitchens, hot tubs, EV charging) that match well to summer solar generation with a battery. Payback in SA43 is usually 5–7 years for a 4 kW + 5 kWh package, faster if VAT-registered.
